DON JAZZY OPENS UP ON WHY HE STAY BACK HOME+ SAYS KANYE WEST HAS LIKE 100 PRODUCERS LINED UP AT HIS BECK

In the last 3 months, the Don Jazzy and D’Banj break-up story has graced the covers of several tabloids world over.
Don Jazzy’s move to switch from Mo’Hits to Mavin Records was another development that nobody predicted.
Today, while D’Banj is focusing on building his brand internationally,Don Jazzy has decided to stay back home to groom his artistes.
In a recent interview, don Jazzy opened up like never before.
Don Jazzy’s words below
It got to a point our brother(D’Banj) wanted to go international; we had built him to a point where he could now stand on his own;but I still have other artistes here that haven’t gotten to the point where they can go international.
I decided to stay back so I can nurture them to get to that point.
Once one door closes, another opens.
Now, I am still signed to G.O.O.D Music internationally, but then in order for me to be able to concentrate with building the artistes that we have here,I wouldn’t be able to give my 100% in concentrating on the work that I have to do in New York.
In NewYork, the music and orientation is different,I can sit down there and say I’m trying to make an album for Kanye West, and it takes me longer because the level of music there is different from the level of music here.
Kanye West has like 100 producers lined up at his beck and call,it is not like I am priority anyway,so I’LL be spending a lot of money staying in the States when I can stay here and be making money as well as grooming more artistes. And it is very easy these days,I can work here and once I’m done and feel it’s something that would suit Kanye West,I’LL just e-mail it to them, and if they want to use it,they’ll use it,and if they don’t,they will tell you to try again.
