The alliance between Hiphop act, Jude Abaga a.k.a MI and award winning cinematographer, Kemi Adetiba, we gathered has turned sour over conflicts of interest on professional and personal level.

Findings by revealed that the tiff would have turned an extremely messy fight but was quickly nipped in the bud with quick intervention from concerned stakeholders in other to protect their image.

It was learnt that the highly revered rapper and his team were far from pleased with the outcome of the ‘Bullion Van’ video shot by Kemi Adetiba. They were force to contract the job to another budding music video director, MEX after spending over two million naira on the first video as directed by Kemi which turns out to lack content, creativity and originality, the insider squealed.

It would be recalled that sometimes in January 2015, Kemi Adetiba shot MI Abaga’s ‘Bullion Van’ video off his ‘The Chairman’ album.

The video shoot was done at the KOGA Studios in Oregun. Set was built from the scratch, recreating a night club scene and getting an actual Bullion Van and other props to make the video a world class standard but with the latest brouhaha, it seems all effort by Kemi Adetiba on making the video a success turns out futile.

Kemi Adetiba is a renowned music video director that has won Best Female Video for the song ‘ Ekundayo’ by TY Bello at the Soundcity TV Music Video Awards, Best Female Video for the song ‘ Today Na Today’ by Omawunmi at the 2010 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.

Her most recent works are music video direction of Waje’s ‘Onye’ ,Olamide’s ‘ Anifowoshe’ ‘Sitting on the Throne’ and Bez’s R & B single ‘ Say’
